Great Work Tony! You did a fantastic job of analyzing how the dual coding theory and cognitive load theory are applied in Billy Graham’s Ted Talk. I really enjoyed how your blog thoroughly explained how the Ted Talk follows the learning theories. I like how you discussed the dual coding theory, as spoken word and images are definitely a key factor in captivating the audience. You also suggest that Billy Gramham is following the segmenting principle, by taking brief pauses between concepts and varying his voice which breaks up his presentation.
Altogether, this blog gives a great explanation of learning theories in Billy Graham’s presentation. My only suggestion would be to add more highlighting to bullets to adhere to the signaling principle. Awesome work!
